New board member appointed at CRN annual general meeting

Congress Rental Network (CRN), the world’s leading association of congress system specialists, appointed a new member to its board at the annual general meeting held in Chile last month.  At the meeting, Jeremy Ducklin from Congress Rental Australia stepped down from the board and Martin Wong from AV Image Systems Sdn Bhd – the CRN representative from Malaysia – was appointed.

Members also re-elected Panagiotis Podimatas, from PC Podimatas in Greece, as chairman for the following year having already successfully served two years in the role.

CRN chairman Panagiotis Podimatas says: “The board is the lifeblood of the CRN, which works tirelessly to drive both the association and the congress system industry forward.  By choosing the best people from amongst our members we can generate long term strategic plans that will not only benefit our members but also our partners and clients when organising events around the world. I would like to thank Jeremy for his hard work on the board. I would also like to congratulate Martin on his appointment and look forward to working alongside him on the board.”

CRN is a worldwide network of top quality companies offering the latest congress equipment for hire. CRN caters to any event where audio visual and simultaneous interpretation equipment and support personnel are required.
