CRN makes strong start with new business

The

Congress Rental Network (CRN), a global network of top quality event industry suppliers, has had a strong first quarter in 2012, winning new business and increasing its membership in new regions.

Most recently, CRN’s member from Mexico – Van Der Corp S.A. de C.V – provided a range of congress equipment for an internal meeting between G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in Mexico City ahead of the main G20 meeting which takes place in the country in June. Van Der Corp was chosen by the Mexican government as the supplier of congress systems for this meeting because of its expertise in providing equipment for special events and excellent technical service.

Membership, and interest in joining the network, has also increased. CRN now has 42 members across 40 countries. The network’s growth has been particularly strong in Latin America and Asia. CRN membership provides a wealth of benefits including additional marketing and networking opportunities and access to other member companies with which they can share technical knowledge.

Panagiotis Podimatas from PC Podimatas in Greece, chairman of the CRN comments: “The CRN has a reputation as the worldwide voice of congress system suppliers. We operate in 40 countries and our members provide a wide range of services for all types of high profile events. For our members to provide services on an international scale, as demonstrated by Van Der Corp S.A. de C.V from Mexico for a G20 meeting, requires experience, reliability and a great knowledge. It is great recognition of our first class services that we are chosen as suppliers for these events and we look forward to continuing to provide a truly international partnership with such organisations.”
