Christmas is all about giving and thinking of others, right? Well the Soaring Worldwide team were out and about yesterday packing bags at Waitrose for charity.
Representing the Cirencester Rotary Club, we made our way to Waitrose armed with festive jumpers and Reindeer antlers with the purpose of encouraging shoppers to donate to charities this Christmas.
It was simple (for some of us…). The aim was to help Christmas shoppers with their bags after a hectic trip round the supermarket on one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Packing bags, taking shopping to cars and simply wishing everyone a Merry Christmas – we had a great time.
We’d like to thank all of the shoppers who donated so generously but we’d also like to give a massive thank you to the other volunteers representing the Rotary Club who were also helping out today.
