The Meetings Show UK appoints Steve Knight as exhibition director


Centaur Exhibitions has announced the appointment of Steve Knight as exhibition director for

The Meetings Show UK, announced two weeks ago by Centaur, will be a meeting place, market place and professional education resource for the UK meetings industry when the inaugural show takes place in July 2013.  The show was launched as the result of extensive feedback and research throughout the industry and will have 1,000 fully hosted buyers, international attendees and an exhibitor line up including major domestic and international brands.


Steve Knight, who is a well known and highly respected figure within the meetings industry, has been appointed to lead the show’s growing team of professionals.  Steve has worked on a variety of global events including both the launch and growth of brands that are now firmly established  within the international schedule of meetings shows.  Previously, Steve worked within the Business Travel team at Visit Britain, establishing contacts, building relationships and driving forward the UK’s visitor offering.  Steve will join The Meetings Show UK team in April, 2012.

The Meetings Show UK has also announced the first of several key strategic partnerships with the appointment of Soaring Worldwide as PR and communications consultants to the show.

The Meetings Show UK will take place during the week commencing 8 July, 2013 at Olympia, West London.
