Soaring Worldwide wins Tourism Toronto PR campaign

PR and communication specialist Soaring Worldwide has been chosen by Tourism Toronto to promote its hotels and the city as an international conference, event and business tourism destination.

In particular, the focus of the PR campaign, which will initially run for six months, is aimed at raising the profile of Toronto’s luxury collection of hotels – 13 premier properties offering incentive and conference visitors the highest possible levels of accommodation and meeting services.  As part of this process, Soaring Worldwide will be broadening the city’s appeal to the business, meetings and incentives market. The campaign will initially focus on the UK market.

Julie Holman, director of corporate sales at Tourism Toronto, says: “We decided to work with Soaring Worldwide due to their creativity and extensive knowledge of the meetings and incentive travel market. We look forward to the results our partnership with Soaring Worldwide will undoubtedly bring.”

Toronto is the perfect back drop for UK based incentives and it offers a variety of activities including trips to Niagara and Muskoka, supported by the 13 luxury, high end hotels, shopping and dining experiences across the city.

Soaring Worldwide’s managing director Adam Baggs comments: “Toronto is a world class destination and our key role will be to work with Tourism Toronto to place it in the forefront of the minds of potential bookers and event organisers. The city has so much to offer with all the facilities to host world class events, and we’re excited at the prospect of increasing its profile.”

The 13 hotels making up the luxury collection and providing the focus for the campaign are:

•    Four Seasons Toronto •    Hôtel Le Germain •    Hotel Le Germain Maple Leaf Square •    Intercontinental Yorkville •    Le Meridien – King Edward •    Park Hyatt •    Shangri -La •    Soho Metropolitan •    The Hazelton •    The Ritz Carlton Toronto •    The Thompson Toronto •    Trump International Hotel & Tower Toronto •    Windsor Arms
