Certification International has celebrated the first year of operations for its office in India. The office in Mumbai provides third party assessment services in India and the Indian sub-continent.
Within its domain of conformity assessment services, Certification International India Pvt Ltd offers services to help retailers, trading partners, importers and manufacturers assess product quality and meet the regulatory requirements of their industry through services such as raw material and finished product inspection, initial production check, in-production check, random inspection and loading supervision.
Certification International India Pvt Ltd is headed up by Executive Director Ranjan Sinharoy. Ranjan has 16 years experience in management of CB operations and has been associated with Certification International since 2004 as Head of Certification of franchisee R S Certification Services Pvt. Ltd. He is also a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and SA 8000.
Ranjan explains: “We have a long term growth plan for Certification International India Pvt Ltd. With our head office in the commercial capital of India, and marketing offices in strategic locations, this will help us reach our targets and to win new business. Our short term goals are to consolidate business, build a new team of auditors and promote specific certification, particularly ISO 22001, ISO 27001, ISO 50000, in target markets. We expect good market potential for the business, due to rapid growth of industries in India and the Indian sub-continent.”
