Invitation-only gathering brings together incentive travel professionals from around the world for connection, education and destination discovery in the Colombian capital
SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence) has successfully concluded its 2026 SITE Incentive Summit in Bogotá, Colombia, bringing together a curated group of global buyers and suppliers for an intimate programme of business connection, education and immersive destination experiences from 20 to 23 April.
Hosted in one of Latin America’s most dynamic capitals, the invitation-only event gave delegates first-hand insight into Bogotá’s growing appeal as an incentive destination, combining meaningful business opportunities with rich cultural discovery, local flavour and memorable shared experiences.
Designed to foster deeper relationships and high-value conversations, SITE Incentive Summit balanced structured education and networking with a programme that encouraged delegates to experience the destination in authentic and engaging ways. Across the summit, attendees took part in general sessions, roundtable discussions and networking breaks, alongside a series of experiences that reflected the character and creativity of Bogotá.
“At SITE, we are committed to bringing our community together in destinations that broaden perspectives and create genuine opportunities for connection,” said Annette Gregg, CEO, SITE. “Bogotá delivered exactly that. This summit combined strong business exchange with a real sense of place, giving attendees the chance to experience the city’s culture, hospitality and energy in a way that was both memorable and professionally valuable. It was a powerful example of how incentive travel continues to evolve through fresh destinations and thoughtfully curated programmes.”
The programme opened with arrivals, registration and a welcome reception, setting the tone for several days of connection and discovery. Education and networking were complemented by experiences including a fruit tasting, coffee experience, dance classes and wellness activities, as well as dedicated time for relationship building in more informal settings.
Destination immersion was central to the summit experience. Delegates explored Bogotá through a graffiti walking tour, a visit to Monserrate with dinner, and a La Candelaria walking tour paired with cacao tasting. The programme also incorporated distinctly local and interactive elements, including tejo and a CSR opportunity, as well as a buyer experience featuring ceviche making or mixology inspired by Colombian cocktails. A farewell dinner at Cumbia House brought the summit to a close in celebratory style.
“Bogotá offered our attendees a destination story that was layered, vibrant and highly relevant to today’s incentive market,” said Hasan Dinc, President, SITE. “This was a programme that combined sophisticated hospitality, strong business interaction, cultural richness and authentic local experiences in one seamless journey. For incentive professionals looking to create programmes with depth, personality and real impact, Bogotá showed it has all the right ingredients.”
By bringing together education, networking, local culture and destination storytelling, SITE Incentive Summit in Bogotá gave delegates both practical inspiration and strategic insight. The event also reinforced SITE’s commitment to convening its global community in destinations that reflect the breadth, creativity and future potential of incentive travel.
During the event, SITE announced that the next SITE Incentive Summit will take place in Marrakesh, Morocco, from 13 to 16 July 2027. Building on the momentum of Bogotá, the 2027 edition will bring the association’s invitation-only summit format to one of North Africa’s most iconic destinations, offering attendees the opportunity to experience Marrakesh’s distinctive blend of culture, hospitality, colour and sensory richness while continuing to strengthen global business connections across the incentive travel community.
