Church House appoints new staff, following corporate business growth

Church House Conference Centre, one of Westminster’s leading conference and event venues has appointed two new staff members. The new team members: Leah Forbes and Dora Gordos will undertake the roles of event administrator and event coordinator respectively.

Church House, general manager, Robin Parker said: “We welcome our new staff to join our vibrant and busy professional team.  With our increased focus on all aspects of the events market we expect to have a very busy year.  We are looking forward to the impact these new members of staff will have on the team, particularly providing support to our professional event sales staff.  Both of the new recruits have a background in events and we expect them to continue Church House’s tradition of providing top level service to all our clients and their delegates.”

Church House has a great track record of employee relations and retention, with several members of staff working there for more than ten years. The new roles have been created in response to a strong first half of the year for the venue.

As previously released:  Church House Conference Centre has seen a huge reversal of fortunes since the general election in May 2010 with more than a 40% increase in corporate sector business.  These gains have largely been due to space freed up following the cancellation of various public sector events in light of government cuts.
