Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre, situated at the home of British Motor Racing, has joined Venues of Excellence. The venue sits adjacent to the iconic racetrack which has been the home of British Motor Racing for nearly 70 years. It is the consortium’s 37th member.
“Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre is a memorable, flexible space with stunning design. It is the first motorsport track to join Venues of Excellence and we thoroughly look forward to welcoming them on board, whilst we support their ongoing growth,” comments Executive Director of Venues of Excellence, Mandy Jennings. “They have a dynamic, exciting offering and add a real point of difference to our member base. Silverstone Conference and Exhibition Centre hosts meetings and conferences from 2 to 1,000 delegates. The exhibition space has capacity for 3,000 and access for motor vehicles. With over 600 acres of land and four circuits, events can be enhanced with a wide range of driving and team building experiences.

Since rebranding from Conference Centres of Excellence, the nationwide collection of UK venues has grown by 54%. Under Chairman David Vaughton, the board of directors and Executive Director, Mandy Jennings, they are targeting 50 members by 2020.
