Ottawa Tourism, in collaboration with partners across the National Capital Region, has revealed that INCYBER Forum Canada has selected Ottawa to host its 2026 edition, taking place 1-3 December, 2026, at Rogers Centre Ottawa, with pre-events in Gatineau.
A premier international and pan-Canadian conference focused on cybersecurity and AI safety, INCYBER Forum Canada is expected to welcome approximately 4,000 delegates from Canada, North America, and abroad. The event is forecast to generate more than 5,000 total room nights and deliver an estimated $5.4 million in economic impact for the Ottawa region.
INCYBER Forum Canada brings together public and private sector leaders, international delegations, large enterprises and small and medium-sized businesses, alongside government, military, security, law enforcement, researchers, and cybersecurity professionals. The forum is designed to strengthen digital trust, accelerate innovation, and support collaboration in response to evolving cyber threats.
“Hosting INCYBER Forum Canada is a major international win for Ottawa and a powerful vote of confidence in our region’s leadership in cybersecurity, trusted technology, and digital resilience,” says Stephanie Seguin, Vice President, Business & Major Events. “With Canada’s federal government, world-class research, and a globally connected tech community all here, Ottawa is the right place to convene the conversations and partnerships that will shape a safer digital future. This event will deliver meaningful economic benefits while showcasing our strengths to international delegations, innovators, and decision-makers.”
Organisers commented that Ottawa was selected for its strong concentration of key decision-makers and its reputation as a national hub for technology and security innovation, supporting high-level dialogue and practical collaboration across sectors. The event has previously been hosted in Montréal, and the move to Ottawa reflects the forum’s growth and its commitment to expanding pan-Canadian and international engagement.
