Nick de Bois MP and Guy Browning secured as keynotes for ABPCO AGM

The Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) will hold its AGM on January 22nd with the Right Honourable Nick de Bois and Guy Browning appearing as keynote speakers at the event.

The AGM, which will be held at etc.venues Monument, will begin with coffee and a networking session before current ABPCO chair Jennifer Jenkins welcomes members.

Nick de Bois MP, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group Inquiry into the events industry which looked at the competitiveness of the UK events industry, will give an overview on the UK’s future competitiveness for business tourism, and the opportunities to attract large business congresses to the UK.

The AGM will conclude with one of the funniest speakers on the circuit. Guy Browning, known as the ‘David Attenborough of the business jungle’, will show attendees how every part of an organisation can use intelligence, initiative and imagination to tackle any core issue.

“Having both Nick de Bois MP and Guy Browning join us at the AGM will ensure an interesting and enjoyable event for industry professionals,” comments Jennifer Jenkins, current chair of ABPCO. “The event itself will provide attending members an opportunity to network as well as continue to learn from the presentations and discussions. The AGM is an integral part of our calendar year allowing us to reflect on past successes and plans for the future.” ABPCO is the UK’s leading organisation for professional conference and event organisers, industry associates and those studying for, or seeking a career in the conference and meetings industry.
