LSO St Luke’s welcomed 250 delegates, staff and volunteers from the Heritage Lottery Fund on 14 and 15 July 2014 for a conference featuring VIPs and speakers such as Sir Peter Bazalgette, Chair of Arts Council England, Dame Jenny Abramsky, Chair of the Heritage Lottery Fund, and Sir Laurie Magnus, Chair of English Heritage,
“LSO St Luke’s was ideal for our event. We were looking for a unique heritage venue with the perfect balance of great service, facilities and catering. The team has supported us throughout the whole event process – from inception to delivery – and we are delighted with the results,” said Louise Lane, Director of Communications, Heritage Lottery Fund
The event including a plenary session, networking reception and full-day of engaging presentations and lively debate. Catering was provided by Moving Venue.
In particular, the event made full use of the venue’s technical capabilities, incorporating live voting and web streaming, much of which was featured on social media, including #heritageexchange.

Having worked with HLF since October we are really pleased to have delivered such a successful and fulfilling event. The conference made full use of the building’s technical capabilities and incorporated many of our creative suggestions for making the most of our facilities.
