Delegates can step into the unknown at the Barbican this Summer

Organisers planning events at the Barbican can benefit from the world leading venue’s artistic offering through complimentary tickets that allow them to enjoy the latest exhibition and take a step ‘Into the Unknown’ this summer.

From the 19th century cabinet of curiosities, to the vastness of space and through future cities, into the inner landscapes of human perception ‘Into the Unknown: A Journey through Science Fiction’ is a brand-new exhibition curated by historian and writer Patrick Gyger.  This festival-style exhibition consists of more than 800 works, many of which have never been seen in the UK before, including literature, contemporary art, film, music, comic books and video games. Continuing across the Centre, it includes artwork from Isaac Julien, Larissa Sansour and Conrad Shawcross, and an installation from the creators of Black Mirror.

This unique and ground breaking exhibition, offering a journey into the world of science fiction is available to delegates free of charge as part of their DDR packages (starting from £59+VAT) for events taking place in July and August 2017.

The Barbican are also offering a complimentary glass of fizz for all guests for all new event bookings taking place in July and August 2017 – the perfect way to round off a busy day.
