Church House AV launches in-house video production service

Following recent investments in broadcasting and web streaming equipment, Church House Conference Centre’s AV team has introduced a full in-house video production service.

The new service allows the venue to produce professional videos, providing clients with a one-stop shop for all their event AV requirements, as well as generate creative opportunities for its marketing department.

In the past two years Church House has invested more than £120,000 in state-of-the-art video equipment including a vision mixer, HD cameras, lighting and infrastructure. In order to support these investments Church House has also invested in developing its teams experience in broadcast technology, providing training for all AV technicians in the Editing Suite on programmes such as Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effect so they can produce professional videos in-house.

Ian Locke, Church House Conference Centre’s AV Manager, says: “We are thrilled to officially introduce this service at Church House and are really excited about the new opportunities that it will open. For our clients this is a chance to benefit from some cutting edge technology and obtain professional videos, whilst simplifying the production process by working with a team who already knows and understands their event.

“From an internal point of view it will also enhance our marketing efforts by offering more possibilities in-house, such as being able to create content for our new YouTube channel. Our AV team is full of young and talented people and this is a great way for them to showcase their broad technical skills but also their creative potential.”

The first client to utilise the new service was international AV association InfoComm, who hosted their Live Hands-On Day in September. Christopher Lavelle, Regional Director, UK and Ireland InfoComm International, commented: “We were extremely pleased with the outcome from the Video Production Team at Church House Conference Centre. The video pieces created were catching, edgy and clearly well thought out in post-production. On the day the video crew were polite and courteous, invisible when not needed while capturing the day but available when required.”
