Barbican launches corporate hospitality and private screening packages for final Harry Potter

Barbican Centre, well known for its themed events and high quality private screening packages has launched details of its corporate hospitality programme around the launch of the new Harry Potter film  – The Deathly Hallows, part II.

Corporate event organisers can hire the barbican’s cinemas for private screenings on the final instalment in J K Rowlings epic series.  Working with in-house caterers, Searcy they can provide a host of theming options to suit client requirements.  In particular it is the catering offer that can really set these events apart, including food stalls such as:

•    Florian Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlour •    The Hogwarts Express tea trolley •    Mrs Weasley’s Kitchen

For those looking for a canapé style menu there are Hogwarts staples such as: Roast beef, roast chicken, pork chops, shepherd’s pie, Cornish pasties, lamb chops, sausages, bacon and steak, steak and kidney pudding, black pudding, sandwiches, crumpets.  A Hogwarts breakfast is even available, including: Porridge, rolls, orange juice, kippers, eggs and bacon, buttered toast with jam, corn flakes.  And to wash it all down, guest can drink in the Three Broomsticks bar, sampling: Butterbeer, Red Currant Rum, Gillywater, Cherry syrup and soda and mulled mead…

The Barbican continually organise a highly successful themed events within their cinemas.  Of particular note in 2010 was a Sex and City 2 event where the Barbican’s famous Conservatory and adjacent area were transformed into both Manhattan and Middle East themes.
