Helen Bassett, Executive Director at local PR Company Soaring Worldwide, based outside Lechlade, has recently been appointed Vice President of the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce.

The post is for a two year period and Helen is delighted to have been appointed to this important role in the Cirencester community. Keen to start using her experience to help the Chamber move forward Helen is very clear on her vision for the future: “This opportunity allows me to demonstrate my commitment to the local community and take an active part in supporting local businesses and the local economy. In addition to helping to improve engagement with the business community and encouraging more members to join I am also keen to use my professional PR experience to start utilising the power of social media within the Chamber”

President of the Cirencester Chamber of Commerce, Jonathan Davies, commented: “I am delighted that Helen agreed to be Vice President and was duly elected at our recent AGM.
