Local PR Company, Soaring Worldwide, based in Wiltshire, recently ran an extremely successful free two hour Social Media Marketing training seminar aimed at local businesses in Cirencester.
The event entitled “Join the Conversation” was hosted at the Royal Agricultural College in Cirencester and sponsored by the RAC Business Development Centre. The seminar was focused on helping both individuals and businesses to understand more about the current and future benefits of Social Media including how best to leverage the benefits of using sites like Twitter, Linked-In and Facebook.
The seminar, limited to thirty places, proved to be very popular with all the delegates. Soaring Worldwide’s MD Adam Baggs was delighted with all the positive feedback ; “A lot of businesses still don’t understand how beneficial a successfully planned Social Media Marketing Campaign can be in terms of raising their profile. Based on the responses from this course Soaring Worldwide is planning to run further seminars in the near future with smaller classroom style sessions and with PC’s on desks in order to provide delegates with a more hands-on experience.”
One of the course delegates, Clare Young, from Solicitors Wilmot & Co found the event particularly useful commenting that “This was an enlightening and fascinating presentation demonstrating the increasing importance of social media as a business tool”.
