Soaring Worldwide’s challenge was a PR campaign aimed at looking beyond their product for differing angles and to place the focus of the campaign on the expertise of their managing director, Nick Jones and their team of industry leaders.
Nexus Collections understood that promotional bags were not the sexiest of products to market but our aim was to look beyond the product itself and to find stories that would matter to the industry – such as the environmental impact of events and the position of the conference industry within the global macro economy.
Soaring Worldwide also led the market launch of their environmentally friendly bags through an ongoing campaign that included the distribution of product to various industry magazines with their mastheads emblazoned on the exterior of the bag. This was followed up with significant coverage and in-depth feature ensuring deep market penetration. Since then the product range has continued to grow and we were able to grow the campaign to include additional issues and angles.
Another challenge was to position director Nick Jones as not only an industry expert but also an economic expert within the events sector. As an ex-financial services leader, opinion and comment pieces for the meetings sector were published which served to further enhance the reputation of both Nick and Nexus Collections.
