Lime Venue Portfolio – the largest collection of unusual, sporting and cultural venues throughout the UK and Ireland – will provide The Science Museum as host venue for the hosted buyer welcome reception on Monday 7 July, as well as other theming and catering resources for The Meetings Show 2014.
The headline partnership will see the Lime Venue Portfolio organise and deliver the hosted buyer welcome reception on 7 July at the Science Museum; provide food and beverage to the association meetings conference at The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre and cater both hosted buyer lounges.
“This is a fantastic partnership; we are looking forward to working with such a high profile organisation and in particular are very excited by their use of the Science Museum as well as the initial theming concepts for the reception,” said The Meetings Show’s Event Director, Steve Knight. “Bringing the two brands together under a headline partnership enables The Meetings Show to tell the story of the Lime Venue Portfolio to our key audience of qualified hosted buyers. They will have the opportunity to meet, network and do business with the UK’s only hosted buyer audience as well as the substantial number of trade visitors we expect to see at the 2014 show.”
Head of Marketing at Lime Venue Portfolio Richard Kadri-Langford said: “We’re really looking forward to working with The Meetings Show. The partnership allows us far more than an opportunity to just sell to potential clients; we will be able to demonstrate our skills, expertise and services, giving potential buyers first-hand experience of everything we have to offer at multiple touch points before and during the show.”
Jo Austin, Head of Sales at Lime Venue Portfolio echoes these views: “By using such an iconic venue, providing the fantastic catering of our special events division, Payne and Gunter and working with some of the industry’s leading creative suppliers, we will ensure The Meetings Show’s visitors have a true VIP experience to start their week. Having had a great show in 2013, we’re confident that it will go from strength to strength. As well as the reception event, we’re also looking forward to exhibiting at the show and delivering food and beverage to the hosted buyer lounges.”
